Spain's captain is a football legend. After Saturday's 2-0 win over San Lorenzo, he is the only player in the history of football to lift the eight major trophies.

160 matches have gone by since he made his debut on June 3rd in Gothemburg (Sweden), in a friendly match prior to the European Cup 2000 between Sweden and Spain.

Then he made his official debut aged 19 on September 2nd 2000 in the Bosnia-Spain match.

In 2011 he overtook Andoni Zubizarreta and took his place as the player with most international caps in the Spanish National Team

Iker Casillas is not only our team's first captain, but also the captain in the history of world football.
