The U20s beat Paraguay 3-1 on their way to the World Cup in Turkey

The team coached by Julen Lopetegui imposes itself against a tough South American squad

The generations who won the U19 looks to repeat the success at the U20 World Cup in Turkey, where Julen Lopetegui's pupils prove to be on the right track after the result at the Guillermo Amor Stadium. 

The starting line up included Dani Sostres in goal, Bernat, Israel, Llorente, Manquillo in defense, Suso-Saul combo and Denis Suárez, Deulofeu, Jesé and Paco Alcácer in offense. Spain started off in control of the match, and managing under the pressure imposed by Paraguay qho did not intend to make it each for Lopetegui's boys. 

With patiance and true to the typical Spanish style, it was in the 18th minute when Israel scored for the locals after a magestic cross from Suso. With the match controlled by Suso, Jesé and Deulofeu, the second goal was on it's way. But football surprises and it was Matías Perez who scored a penalty whistled by Mateu Lahoz, setting the draw for the "Albirrojilla". 

Paraguay's goal was only a small setback, given that three minutes later the combo made up by Jesé and Deulofeu created the advantage for Spain. The 2-1 on the scoreboard took place after a pass from the Madrid player which the Barça player made the most of scoring ahead of half time. 

The second half followed the same script with a change in actors.  Spain called on: Jairo, Derik, Aketxe, José Rodríguez and Gayá and Fede Vico's debut in the category team. 

Lopetegui's men proved to dominate the game, controlling the match and barely allowing for dangerous chances on behalf of Paraguay.  Bernat, thanks to a pass by Saúl was the authour of the final goal in the 86th minute, setting the score 3 to 1.
