Five Spain players attend national A-ball launch

Toledo hosted the national presentation of a new discipline: A-Ball, which for the first time allows people with diverse ability. 

The event counted with the support of five Spanish squad legends: Fernando Giner, Lobo Carrasco, Ito, Emilio Amavisca and Rubén de la Red. 

After an opening demonstration match. the assistants took part, trying out the chairs and carrying out several activities true of an A-ball team. 

A-Ball,  for the first time allows people with diverse ability. 

This new sport discipline, recognised and supported by the Spanish Football Federation the A International Footballers Association and the Association of Spanish Footballers.

A-ball seeks, through the help of AFAE, to expand and create teams and schools in multiple cities with the hope of making the sport more popular in oder to reach a professional league level. 

Since its first presentation at the Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas - held in October - the A-ball team has organised and taken part in several events with the hopes of promoting sports in chairs.
